Digital MMDS System

A complete end-to-end Digital MMDS (Multichannel Multipoint Distribution System) solution for cable-free multichannel TV distribution at 2.5–2.7 GHz. Each 6 MHz channel carries 6–15 digital TV programmes using 64-QAM or 256-QAM modulation — no trenching, no cable plant required.

In a Digital MMDS system, each 6 MHz channel (8 MHz in PAL regions) can carry 6 to 15 TV programmes simultaneously using 64-QAM or 256-QAM modulation over the 2.5–2.7 GHz frequency band.

Converts satellite or local TV signals to digital format, multiplexes individual streams, and modulates each into a VHF carrier with 64-QAM or 256-QAM.
